Why Travelers Rest
It all begins with a vision — your perfect wedding day in a breathtaking venue that fits your style and budget. Whether you dream of a scenic outdoor ceremony beneath our iconic arched bridge or a grand indoor reception in one of our elegant ballrooms, we offer all-inclusive wedding packages and expert coordination to make every moment unforgettable.
Your dream day deserves the perfect setting. Let us help you create memories that last a lifetime.
The Ceremony Setting
The arched stone bridge and the waterfall behind it are where most of our couples choose to stand. Ceremonies happen out here through the season, guests walk straight from their seats to cocktails on the lawn, and the photographs your family will actually frame are taken within a few steps of it.
Available seasonally · Weather-contingency plan included

What's Included
A wedding usually arrives as separate contracts: the room from one, the catering from another, the staff from a third, and a final invoice nobody predicted. Here it arrives as a single plan. What you build is what you host.
Cocktail Hour
Six choices of passed hors d'oeuvres through a full hour, served while you are still out in the gardens being photographed.
Plated Dinner
A pasta course, a salad course, and four plated entrees your guests choose between, rather than one set menu decided for them.
Premium Open Bar
An unlimited premium selection, open for the length of the reception. No drink tickets, and no bar tab waiting at the end of the night.
The Celebration Cake
In every proposal by default rather than something you source and carry in yourself. A dessert display or sweets station swaps in if you would rather.
Your Coordinator
One person builds the timeline around your ceremony and runs it on the day, dealing with your DJ, photographer and florist directly so your family does not.
The Room and the Suite
Tables, chairs, linens and professional service staff come with the space. So does the private bridal suite, so the morning happens here rather than in a hotel across town.
Coffee, tea and dessert service close the evening, and a ceremony on site carries its indoor alternative planned alongside it from the start. These are part of how a wedding runs here, not additions you discover later.
Wedding Questions
What couples ask us most before they tour.
Yes. Ceremonies are a standard part of what we do and can be added to any wedding package. Couples most often marry outdoors in the gardens, with the arched stone bridge and cascading waterfall behind them, then move inside for cocktails while we turn the space for dinner.
We plan the indoor alternative alongside the outdoor one from the start, so the decision on the day is a simple call rather than a scramble. Your coordinator holds a room ready and the ceremony happens on time either way, and you will know the cutoff for the call before your wedding day.
There is a private bridal suite on site, so the morning happens here rather than in a hotel room across town. Hair, makeup, photographs, and the quiet hour before the ceremony all take place in one place, steps from where you will marry.
The Atlantic Room seats 180 to 200 guests for a plated dinner with a dance floor. Combining the Atlantic and Terrace Rooms brings that closer to 250. Smaller weddings suit the Crystal or Lantern Room, each seating 120, both of which open onto the gardens.
Yes, and most couples do. We coordinate directly with your vendors on timing, load-in, and power so you are not relaying messages on your wedding day. Tell us who you have booked when you inquire and we will take it from there.
A typical wedding runs ceremony, then cocktail hour with passed hors d'oeuvres while guests move through to the reception, then dinner service, toasts, and dancing, closing with coffee and dessert. Your coordinator builds the timeline around your ceremony time and the moments that matter to you, and runs it on the day so nobody in your family has to.
A celebration cake is part of the package rather than a line item you add later, and it is included in every proposal by default. If you would rather have a dessert display, a sweets station, or something in place of the cake, those swap in when you build your proposal.
