Every Birthday, From a Sweet 16 to a 90th

A sixteenth and a seventieth are not the same party and should not be sold as one. A Sweet 16 is a DJ, a dance floor, and a bar that works without alcohol. A fiftieth looks more like a wedding reception. An eightieth is about getting three generations into a room comfortably. We run all of them, and the estimate is built from the one you are actually planning rather than a single birthday package.

One Price for the Whole Party

A milestone birthday priced by the piece, room and catering and bar and cake and staff, is a number nobody can actually see until it is over. Built here it is one per-guest figure, and you can look at it before you invite anyone.

Cocktail Hour

Six choices of passed hors d'oeuvres as guests arrive, which is what makes a fortieth or a sixtieth read more like a reception than a party.

Plated Dinner

A pasta course, a salad course, and four entree choices your guests select between, so a long family table is not served one set plate.

The Celebration Cake

In every proposal by default rather than something you source and carry in yourself, and swappable for a dessert display or a sweets station.

The Bar, or a Mocktail Bar

Full bar options for a twenty-first and up. For a Sweet 16 a mocktail bar and soft-drink service stand in instead, so the bar is not the awkward part of the night.

Children's Package

The full food service without alcohol at a reduced rate, shown as its own line, so a family party with a lot of young guests prices honestly rather than by guesswork.

The Room and the Staff

Tables, chairs, linens and professional service staff included with the space, set for dancing or for dinner depending on which birthday this is.

Your own DJ, band and decorations are welcome and most birthdays bring them; we coordinate load-in and setup timing with them directly. On-site parking runs to over 250 spaces, so there is no long walk for older guests.

Birthday Party Questions, Answered

From a Sweet 16 to a 90th.

Do you host Sweet 16s and 21st birthdays?

Both, and they are run differently. For a Sweet 16 the room is set for dancing with the DJ as the centerpiece, and guests under 21 are not served alcohol, with a mocktail bar and soft-drink service in place instead so the bar is not the awkward part of the night. For a 21st, the full bar options are on the table.

What about a 40th, 50th, or 60th?

These tend to look more like a wedding reception than a party, with a cocktail hour, a seated dinner, toasts, and dancing. The Crystal and Lantern Rooms each seat 120 and suit that scale well, and both open onto the gardens for cocktails outdoors.

Can you handle a 70th, 80th, or 90th with older guests?

Yes, and these are gatherings we host regularly. Parking is on site with over 250 spaces so there is no long walk, and rooms can be arranged for easy movement and clear sightlines to the toasts. Tell us about any mobility needs in the family and we will place you accordingly.

Which room fits our guest count?

The Terrace Room seats up to 60 for a close gathering. The Crystal and Lantern Rooms each seat 120. The Atlantic Room seats 180 to 200, and combined with the Terrace Room it reaches close to 250 for a large family celebration.

Is the birthday cake included?

A celebration cake is part of the package rather than something you source and carry in yourself, and it appears in every proposal by default. If you would rather have a dessert display or a sweets station, those swap in when you build your proposal.

What do children cost?

Children are billed on a reduced children's package covering the full food service without alcohol, so you are not paying an adult rate for a child's plate. It appears as its own line in your proposal, so a family party with a lot of young guests prices honestly rather than by guesswork.

Is there a minimum guest count for a birthday party?

The event minimum is 25 guests, and the first 25 are billed at the adult rate regardless of your final count. It is shown in your estimate from the start, so a smaller birthday is possible with no surprise at the end.

Can we bring our own decorations and DJ?

Yes to both. Most birthdays bring their own DJ or band and their own decor, and we coordinate load-in and setup timing directly with them. Tell us who you are working with when you inquire.
